When our family learned that my father’s cancer had metastisized, and hospice was ordered, we were devastated but we are so grateful we had the Empress team by our side during the last weeks of my father’s life.
Our journey with Empress started with a simple home assessment and then placement of Home Care Assistance through another company recommended by Empress. Our experience was so wonderful with the first two services there was no question about using Empress Hospice when the time came.
The Empress team is comprised of extremely empathetic and compassionate registered nurses, doctors, and support staff that ensure every level of emotional and physical comfort is accounted for. We very much appreciated how the team at Empress and the Home Care Assistance team partnered and worked together seamlessly as one team to provide an exceptional level of care and compassion through a heartbreaking and difficult phase of life for everyone.
When there is no further curative path to follow, and hospice is ordered, moving forward is such a confusing, emotional and difficult journey.
